Our Story
Joy & Hope Residential Facility was founded on the conviction that recovery is possible for everyone — with the right environment, the right support, and the right people beside you.
Joy & Hope was established after its founders witnessed firsthand the gap in quality residential care for adults navigating serious mental health challenges. Too many individuals were cycling through hospitals, emergency services, and streets — not because care was unavailable, but because the right level of supportive, structured residential care was scarce.
We opened our doors to fill that gap: offering a warm, professionally staffed home where adults could stabilize, build skills, and reclaim their independence — at whatever pace recovery required.
Today, we serve individuals referred by hospitals, county mental health departments, social workers, and community partners who trust us to provide consistent, high-quality care.
To provide compassionate, structured residential care that empowers adults with mental health and recovery needs to achieve stability, independence, and a meaningful quality of life.
A community where every person living with mental health challenges has access to a safe, dignified home and the professional support needed to thrive — not just survive.
These principles guide every decision we make — from staffing and programming to the daily rhythms of life in our facility.
We lead with empathy, treating every resident with dignity and unconditional positive regard.
A structured, secure environment where residents feel protected and can focus on healing.
We build belonging through connection — between residents, staff, and the wider community.
Evidence-informed practices delivered by trained, licensed, and dedicated professionals.
We hold ourselves to the highest standards of care, transparency, and ethical conduct.
Every resident has the capacity to heal. We nurture that potential every single day.
