Admissions Criteria
Joy & Hope serves adults who need more support than outpatient care can provide, but who are not in need of acute inpatient hospitalization. We specialize in the stabilization and supported independence of adults with serious mental illness.
We serve adults across a range of circumstances, united by a need for structured residential support and professional care.
Individuals stepping down from inpatient hospitalization who need a structured, supervised environment before returning to independent living.
Individuals managing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders who benefit from a sober, supportive residential setting.
Those at risk of or experiencing homelessness who require stable housing paired with mental health support to achieve lasting stability.
Our staff are trained to support adults with a broad range of psychiatric diagnoses. Referrals are accepted from hospitals, outpatient programs, county mental health, and other licensed providers.
We are committed to transparency about our capacity and scope of care. If we cannot safely serve an individual, we will assist with finding an appropriate alternative.
